Volunteer Non-official Resources

The Garden of Peace Food Rescue Program

We are a small but powerful group of people in our 50s and 60s who have a lot of time to put towards helping people in need.

Binghamton Food Rescue

Tufts Food Rescue Collaborative

We package food leftover from the Tufts University Dining Halls, and package it for distribution by local non-profit, Food for Free, based in Cambridge MA. To contact us, please send a private message to our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1760252707549706/about/

Kitsap Harvest

Kitsap Harvest is working on its sustainability plan to be self-supported. We have a new website at http://kitsapharvest.org/

Connect and Nourish

We feed neighborhood shelters such as Connect by Night in Upper Darby and also connect families in need to food. We also work with the St.Marks Food Bank in Broomall, PA.

Share the Harvest

Primarily seasonal June through September. Trying out year-round this winter.

Harvest Project Food Rescue

Our program participants do NOT need to meet any requirements to be able to receive food. We work with faith-base and non-sectarian groups. We are a zero-waste program.
